Who publishes this site
Furas is a public directory of the opportunities Moroccan public buyers publish, and a product built on top of it. This page says who runs it, where the data comes from, and how to get something corrected.
What we do
We gather every opportunity a public buyer in Morocco publishes — calls for tenders and purchase orders alike — about three minutes after it appears. 495 887 of them are on this site today, from 7 385 buyers. We rewrite each title in plain language, attach its buyer, region, sector and dates, and publish it. Reading what is open is free and needs no account.
Where the data comes from, and what we do to it
Everything on the open site was already public. It comes from the official sources that publish these notices openly, and anyone can go and check any of it against the source.
What we add is readability, not facts. Titles are rewritten so a person can tell at a glance what is being bought; buyer names are written the way someone would say them rather than the way a database stored them. We do not estimate, we do not rank, and we do not publish an amount nobody announced.
Where a source is wrong, we are wrong with it — which is why the next section exists.

Correcting us
